President Duda appoints new ministers

Polish President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday swore in new foreign, defence, interior, health and environment ministers following a Cabinet reshuffle.

Polish President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday appointed Jacek Czaputowicz as the new minister of foreign affairs and Marek Blaszczak as new minister of defence during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

President Duda also appointed Joachim Brudzinski as new minister of internal affairs and Teresa Czerwinska as new minister of finance.

Lukasz Szumowski was appointed minister of health while Henryk Kowalczyk was named minister of environment.

Other appointments included Jerzy Kwiecinski as new minister of investments and development, Jadwiga Emilewicz as new minister of entrepreneurship and technology as well as Andrzej Adamczyk as minister of infrastructure.
